For the first fourth dimension since 2018, GARNER Arts Festival, the Mid-Hudson region's premier immersive fine art festival with an almanac draw of over 3,000 visitors returns to the historic hamlet of Garnerville, NY – just 35 miles northwest of New York City. Now in its 16th year, with support from ReStart the Arts, a regrant program of ArtsWestchester with support from the Office of the Governor, the New York State Legislature and the New York Land Council on the Arts and local support from Rockland County, the Village of Due west Haverstraw and the Town of Haverstraw, this weekend-long event offers world-class fine art exhibitions, large-calibration installations, open studios, artisan demonstrations, live music, crafts, performances, craft beverages, nutrient and more! GARNER Arts Festival will take place on Saturday, May 21st and Sunday, May 22nd from 12pm to 6pm, rain or shine.

Visitors of all ages are invited to explore the GARNER Historic District, a reclaimed 14 acre, 19th century material mill complex that has been transformed into one of the nearly compelling contemporary art venues and small business incubators exterior of New York Urban center. Visit xl open creative person studios. Meet painters, sculptors, illustrators, woodworkers, photographers, graphic designers, textile artists and more. Make fine art in a multifariousness of creative workshops for kids and adults. Browse an eclectic craft show. Engage with art installations and interactive performances gear up in celebrated brick alleys, clangorous old factory spaces, and along the meandering Minisceongo creek. Alive music, local nutrient vendors, arts and crafts beverages and an artisanal java bar provide fuel for the experience.

GARNER Arts Eye's Historic Circuitous:
GARNER Arts Heart's home, the Garnerville Arts & Industrial Center, is a circuitous of quondam textile mill buildings, and is the living, animate, working abode where artists create their fine art for a living. The public gets a chance to meet the open studios and live demonstrations of a diversity of artisans, while wandering the back alleys, alcoves and creekside sculpture trail of this historic, Civil War-era textile manufactory.  In 2014, the circuitous was awarded a list on the National Register of Historic Places equally the Rockland Print Works Historic Commune, aka GARNER Historic Commune of New York. The New York State Deputy Commissioner for Historic Preservation, Ruth L. Pierpont, said: "Listing on the National Register recognizes the importance of [Rockland Impress Works] to the history of our land."  Established by Garner & Co., which between 1837 and 1909 dominated the material industry in the The states, the Rockland Print Works was associated with the hamlet of Garnerville'southward evolution as a thriving factory town, and was reorganized in 1934 as one of the Nation'south first industrial cooperatives.

HOW: Onsite parking is available in the GARNER Celebrated District. Off-site parking is available on Railroad Artery and nearby Chapel Street. Nearby offsite parking locations: SW Johnson Firehouse at 37 Bridge Street & the N Rockland Central Schoolhouse District lot at 65 Chapel Street.

HEALTH & SAFETY: It is recommended that visitors stay dwelling if not feeling well. GARNER Arts Centre and the Garner Celebrated District recommends mask wearing indoors and for guests to practice distancing, specially among large groups where possible. Paw sanitizing stations will be bachelor in indoor spaces and outdoors throughout the festival grounds.

Dining & Drinks: The GARNER Creekside nutrient court volition offering tastes of the best local food and craft drink providers in the region, including: delicious fabricated-to-guild pies by Pizza Vitale, the eclectic flavorful offerings of Haverstraw's 5 Senses food truck, the down-habitation smoky goodness of Big Daddy's Homeplate BBQ of Haverstraw, refreshing treats from Haverstraw'due south iconic summertime water ice cart, Ice Is Nice – Oh Yes It Is! The GARNER bar volition proudly serve arts and crafts beer from Industrial Arts Brewing Company alongside pop-ups from Rockland Cider Works and Wölffer Estate wine. Visitors can also stop past the GARNER Historic District's own award-winning food and beverage establishments. Regional favorite, Hudson's Manufactory Tavern will exist open for a gourmet sit-downwards lunch. Arts and crafts-beer lovers tin visit Industrial Arts Brewing Company'southward newly renovated taproom. A pop-up java bar stocked with the complex's own artisanal roaster, Stack Street Coffee, will besides be open.
